Thanks for being interested in hosting. We love working with hosts who provide a warm welcome and homely environment to international young learners from around the world. We have groups of students in spring , summer and autumn who come to the UK as part of their cultural enrichment.
What We
Offer
Great Students
Our students are young learners from around the world who come to study with us in spring, summer and autumn. They are both boys and girls and they average around 15 years old
Timely Payments
Hosts are paid per student per night. We like to keep this simple and pay hosts at the end of the week directly into your chosen account. Current rates are available on request.
Full Programme
The students are engaged in a full programme of classes, activities and excursions which we have thoughtfully put together to ensure they get the most out of their time in the UK
Host Support
We are a family owned and run company so the relationship we have with our host team is a direct one. We are there to help and are just at the end of a phone line if you need us.
Careful Matching
We want the placement to be a success so we take time to match the hosts and the students requirements to try and make sure that everyone has a great experience. We try to place 2 or 3 students in the same home.
Right times
Some students stay for 6 nights, other up to 20 - but we always make sure that you get the right type of booking for what you need to fit around your own busy life.

Offer
A warm welcome
As the students are young learners we like to work with hosts who can offer a warm and welcoming environment - talking, engaging and listening to them will really help settle the students into their experience.
Settling in
It really helps to show students not only how your home works, but how to get to and from school and what to do if the students need help. Hosts need to know where their guests are and what they are doing and we will provide you with a copy of their programme.
Security
Hosts give students a sense of security and safety. Of course we will carry out the necessary checks before assigning students but it is all much more than that. Hosts are key to helping young people adjust to their new environment.
Bed and Board
In the Summer hosts provide breakfast and dinner. In the Spring and Autumn they also provide a packed lunch for their guests.
Suitable Accommodation
Students need a good comfortable bed with storage space and a room they can call their own. Often students share twin or triple rooms which can make them feel more relaxed during their stay.

Hosting is a really enjoyable experience - for hosts and student alike. The most successful hosts are the ones who offer a place where students feel part of their lives even if it is only for a very short time.
