This is a fantastic, fun activity to do in small teams - and see what prizes you could win.

First thing - choose a really great and memorable name for your team. Listen to your activity leaders and get ready to go.

How to play

The challenge is……to make a video/photo of all the members of your team doing the challenges listed below… then submit those to your activity leaders - then they will judge which team was the best!

do handstands in front of the Cathedral (2 points per team member + 10 bonus points if all together)

stand with someone who looks like the King (10 points – the judge’s decision is final!)

sing the first verse of the UK National Anthem in the middle of Butcher’s Row (20 points)

pose with the Union Jack (2 points per team member)

with a street artist, entertainer or Big Issue seller (10 points)

squeezing inside a telephone box (2 points per team member)

team photo with the Bear from Peru (2 points per team member)

standing with a person in uniform (10 points for a real person, 5 points for a statue)

kneeling in front of someone who is wearing a Premier League football team shirt (NOT in a shop!) (10 points)

find someone taller than 6 feet 4 inches / 1.95 metres (10 points)

clapping loudly in the Market Square (10 points)

doing the conga outside the Guildhall with as many people as possible! (10 points + 2 bonus points per extra non-team member)

make a 30-second film to promote Salisbury as a place to come and study English! (30 points + 20 bonus points for the best film)
